If I am not completely mistaken, in that country a wife has absolutely no say in the choice of whom she marries–the marriage is arranged by the girl’s father and the bride does not see her husband until the day of the wedding. Sufficient to say, if a woman is married to an evil man then her life would have been absolutely miserable. May GOD have mercy on her soul.
