Well, Michael T. Greene, you don’t seem to like President Trump, the Republicans, or conservatives in general, do you? That’s too bad for you, my friend, since you always like supporting the opposite…meanwhile, on the other hand, I, a lowly retired senior, am enjoying the benefits of this conservative Republican administration, quite a bit! I’ve been renting rooms (not apartments), for ten years now, and, for the first time that I can remember, rents for rooms to live in, here in central NJ, have leveled off–and have now gone down a bit. And why? Because there is less demand for low cost housing, like room rentals. And why is there less demand for low cost housing? Because there are fewer poor people, in this area, because many immigrants (who trespassed illegally to get here) have either left, on their own (“self-deported”), or been caught and deported by ICE. And that is not all: some organic produce food prices have declined. And the requirements to rent an apartment, in a “senior-affordable” complex, have loosened (because of decreased demand, to rent them), etc, etc, etc. We are seeing more and more TANGIBLE economic benefits, both in govt and in the private sector/marketplace, from having less immigrants around, who came here by trespassing illegally, across our borders. And, as an extra BONUS: we now have fewer illegal Democratic Party voters, too! What could be better, huh, Michael T. Greene? What could be better? (Maybe shutting down ALL public worker unions, perhaps? And making all “green energy” devices illegal, possibly? Issuing Glock 9’s, to every adult citizen, perhaps? I’m sure, though, that you could think of something even better, right? Ha ha ha ha ha…)

He has done a LOT, Lynette…a LOT! Soon, I will be able to move to a room rental (or maybe even a senior affordable apartment!), that costs LESS, than the room rental, that I am in now. And why? Because the demand for low-cost housing has DECLINED, somewhat, here in central NJ. And why? Because so many illegally-trespassing immigrants have left the area, either on their own, or with “assistance” from ICE (while no more additional ones, are flooding in). So, there are less people, here in this area, to compete with me, for low-cost housing, like room rentals. And, as we all know, Lynette: less demand=lower prices (for ANY product or service, by the law of supply and demand, in economics). And, with less illegal immigrants flooding the healthcare system, there will be less cost (or debt) to our govts (and more service and benefits to us!) And, less homelessness, less crime on the streets, less rampant drug use. And since our president has been cutting govt costs, and supporting fossil fuel use, inflation has stopped spiraling out of control–and some prices have even declined, dramatically! Everything Trump has been doing is GOOD! ALL of our presidents, should be conservatives like him, Lynette–all of them!!!!!!!!

Totally agree, Dave! Not since Ronald Reagan, have I been enjoying life in this country, so much. I bought a beat-up, old, used car (2002 Honda Accord LX, 4-cyl, with 213K miles on it), in January, 2024, from an immigrant, who fled back to Mexico. It was in bad shape, yet I was able to fix it up, at reasonable cost, and get it working, reasonably well. And since he was leaving in a hurry, I only paid $2,000, to purchase it. Meanwhile, one of my other high school buddies, from many decades ago, “coughed up” $50,000, in Nov. 2022, for his Tesla model 3–and was already having serious problems with it, by May of 2024. I’m enjoying, loving actually, being able to ride around in my dirt-cheap, gasoline-burning, old car, going from store to store to get the best deals on organic produce, and other grocery items, as well (or going to the senior center, or chasing after other senior women, or cooking great meals, that are healthy, etc.) Life is good, with Trump as president, and only getting better–for sure!
