If the rule was that congress didn’t get paid during a shut down they would have never let the shut down happen. I’m sick of them being exempt from everything they subject the rest of us to.
I’m sick of the Democrats always preaching how much they are for the people. NO THEY AREN”T, they are for the rich democrats. Look at congress they go in, most not very wealthy then come out millionares. Granted there are a few who don’t, but I sure don’t see that on the democrat side. They are greedy, selfish and fools, who play with our money, our lives and think it’s funny. Well guess, what Americans are sick of their games.
Obamacare is worthless my eye surgery was over 14,000 dollars and Obamacare only paid 1500 dollars I ended up paying 15,500 dollars out of my pocket. The insurance I have now paid 240,000 dollars for a surgery i had 4 years ago. and my out of pocket was 655 dollars, that is a hell of a lot of difference, I say no to Obamacare.
There is a little law most don’t know, if the Dr. doesn’t accept Medicare patients they don’t have to accept Medicaid and obamacare plans, thus fewer Drs. and higher costs for the patients.
I read the WHOLE bill over 2480 pages, it has a ton of nasty surprises, like the subsidies for insurance companies ending, thus the higher premiums. A cute paragraph citing being taxed due to BMI’s > 25. Now 15 years later, ALL of the nasty items are coming out and the democrats don’t like it, they want us to continue to pay.
Sen. Rick Scott (R-FL) is pushing legislation that would withhold pay for members of Congress during government shutdowns. It’s only fair. I’m sure the Dems. will vote against the bill. But if it does pass, this will be every time the gov’t shuts down from now on. OK Dems put your money where your mouth is. How long can you keep the gov.t shut down without an income? Also, Ron Johnson has a bill that there never will be a shutdown. This is definitely on the Dems – they own this shutdown.
If we don’t get paid, they shouldn’t get paid!!

I’ve watched and listened to Joe Kernen for many years on CNBC. A very “even-keeled” and “level-headed” guy. All for the American worker. As is their Bond guy, Rick Santelli. “Hakeem” better pay attention to what those guys have to say!
