I am a licensed diver and looking into this sub is just sickening to see how little testing was done.
I am a US Navy submarine veteran and i did follow the construction, testing and deployment of this submersible and had many concerns over the lack of needed systems. Also the test depth was only a calculation on paper and this submersible had never gone to 4000 meters before. This dive was the deepest dive this submersible had attempted… it appears the calculated depth was incorrect.
