I think Mamdani became a naturalized citizen in 2018. I think there are 9 or 10 required steps to becoming a naturalized citizen, one of which is an Oath of Allegiance to the United States of America. People need to look this oath up and read it. The principles in the oath are: 1. Support the constitution; 2. Renounce and abjure absolutely all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign prince, potentate, state, or sovereignty of whom or which the applicant was before a subject or citizen; 3. Support and defend the constitution and laws of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; 4. Bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and 5.A. Bear arms on behalf of United States when required by law; 5.B Perform noncombatant service in the Armed Forces of the United States when required by the law, or 5.C. Perform work of national importance under civilian direction when required by law.
My opinion is that Mamdani and several other naturalized citizens that now serve in government have violated this oath and that their citizenship should be revoked and they should be deported.
