Since Hollywood has no talent for writing new scripts for movies and now they rely on re-makes, this is an ideal situation for them. They can re-make Escape From New York but won’t have the expense of building a phony staged back drop. They can use the real city. And won’t need to hire expensive actors/actresses. Just use the people already in NYC. They’ll be way under budget on this one.
