There once was a movie from the late 1970s called Escape From New York where NYC became a federal prison by the 1990s. It’s 35 years late, but Hollywood made the movie become a reality.
I recall a movie from John Carpenter in 1996 called “Escape from LA” that also seems to be applicable of Hollywood bringing reality to the screen. Both pic’s certainly apply to the fate of both cities today. What great perception of the future!

NYC like other blue States take better care of people who are here illegally than thier own citizens,I retired from a NYC job and recently went on Medicare only to find out that they want to take me along with other retirees on Medicare and put us on Medicare Advantage because it will save the city millions,as someone who has paid into Medicare my whole life this is total BS,the doctors I see don’t accept the Advantage plan but politicians of NY rather make sure the illegals are taken care of better than the people who actually worked for them,STOP VOTING BLUE
