I learned my lesson years ago. If you use a credit card, pay it off every month. They get no interest from me.

I learned a hard lesson decades ago. The credit card companies are always trying to get people to raise their credit limit. The purpose of that is to get people to spend spend spend to the point where they can barely make the minimum payment and become enslaved to the credit card company while they rake in the interest money. I only have 2 cards and have SMALL credit limits and no matter how much they beg me to raise my credit limit I tell them NO! Buy with CASH whenever and every chance you get when buying something.
