Glen, quit sensationalizing what Trump said. DT did NOT say they should be executed. He noted that sedition “CAN BE” punishable by death, he gave the worst case scenario, and it is accurate:
“Sedition in the military can be punishable by death, as outlined in the Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ). Article 94 of the UCMJ states that a person found guilty of sedition can be punished by death or another sentence determined by a court-martial.”
So, DT was pointing out how serious this could be by giving the worst case scenario.

Yes, they absolutely crossed the line.
UCMJ Article 82 (Solicitation): Criminalizes advising, encouraging, or requesting another person to commit certain offenses, including desertion, mutiny, misbehavior before the enemy, or sedition.
They counseled military members to commit the offense of questioning the commander-in-chief’s orders. Their clear insinuation is the context of what has been going on, and that is Trump sending military troops to cities to help keep order. They are implying that it is illegal and so troops should refuse to obey the order to deploy to a US city to help keep order.
And I know this for sure because a top Democrat that was part of helping to put these shenanigans forward said it on a news show, that deploying US troops to cities is “illegal” and so that is exactly what they were after, to plant doubt, and get troops to refuse to deploy to US cities.
The Six think they are heroes and that their party will back them. Not so. When push comes to shove, they will find themselves looking at the underside of the bus. Mark Kelly is probably thinking he’s going to earn himself a position in the next administration. Who knows what Ruben Gallego is thinking, or if he does think. As an Arizonan, I apologise to the nation for these two in particular. The Six have clearly been in politics too long and have distorted their own reality.
