Shannon’s Law, look it up, it was a big deal several years back. A little girl died from a stray bullet that someone had randomly shot in the air. Super illegal, super dangerous, and super stupid.

The bottom line here is what happens in a larger percentage of situations of this kind, “victim refused to comply”. Any individual, armed or not, who ” refuses/fails to comply” with an officers request is disrespectful to the officer and the community which they are serving, which makes them a guilty of whatever charge they have committed in addition to “failure to comply”. As such, they alone are responsible for their actions and the resulting consequences thereof. A clean and clear case of FAFO. As sad as the situation can be, defending the individuals reckless actions does nothing to help the situation at all. Learn from it, teach others to learn from it. Don’t start rioting and destroying the community. Work with the local authorities to ensure this does happen again.

I haven’t seen anything about this story. There’s always two sides to the story. It’s sad that this happened. It’s not an American tradition. Fireworks, yes. Shooting guns, no. That bullet has to come down somewhere.
When I lived in southern Commiefornia, my Hispanic neighbors would shoot guns on holidays. Not a safe thing to do. Commiefornia allows Safe & Sane fireworks, not guns being shot.
It is also standard police protocol not to shoot into moving vehicles. Yet this administration thinks that is okay in Minnesota.
It was a miracle that the Jan6th rioters were not shot even though they deserved to be.

1) Good turned the wheel hard right and the tire position backed what the video showed.(maybe you need an eye exam or to actually watch the videos) 2) Police protocol is not to stand in front of an active vehicle and not to shoot into a moving vehicle. You can clearly see that Good was shot from the side. One video clearly shows space between the officer and car. 3) Babbit was breaking in a window ahead of a violent mob! What goes up must come down, and a shot fired into the air during New Year’s celebrations can return at dangerous speeds, potentially killing anyone it strikes in the head or chest. For this reason, shooting into the air during New Year’s or any celebration is strictly forbidden.

It’s illegal to shoot to shoot into the air because that bullet has to fall and is a danger to other’s. He put others unknown in danger of being killed! I know how it works because I have been missed while on a roof working. It’s not funny to have bullets fall right by you out of nowhere.
