Just gotta say. No comparison between this win and The Miracle on Ice. In 1980, teams were limited to amateur players. BUT, the Russian players were paid members of the Russian Army. They were all grizzly old pros.

That was 46 years ago . This was the greatest hockey game ever and Hughes made a great shot to win the game . In overtime God Bless Jack Hughes and our country loving Gold Medalist players .

Why does everybody forget Team USA’s come from behind triumph in the 1996 World Cup of Hockey? Team USA scored 4 goals in the final 3:18 of Game 3 of the Final! Who can forget the dejected looks on the faces of Gretzky, Messier, et al while Team USA hoisted the World Cup?

This is a lesson and displays how all participants should behave and love the USA. If you do not then you are not hurting the politicians or what you selectively choose to hate but showing how cowardly your souls are. If you do not like America then have the courage to move. Perhaps china or how about countries that are green, many in Africa, no electricity no auto just a good green life. I suggest you go there asap.
Bout time we saw an interview that caught every body’s attention, and rightly so. USA winning Hockey player Jack Hughes expressed exactly what our Olympic team participants should cherish most – the good ole US of A, athletic teamwork, a winning style and gratitude. Great performance by Hughes & the US Hockey players. America couldn’t be prouder!
