Most of us have already black listed Starbuck$. A bunch of crybabies protesting, get another job or a third job. Bet the illegals would love the job you’re crying about. Starbucks is an entry-level job. Starbucks isn’t the issue.
I’ve only been to Starbucks a few times. Not for me, but for the woman I was dating. Overpriced coffee, with employees who need less caffeine. I make my own coffee. Much cheaper and tastes just fine. The employees are not skilled workers. I don’t believe that Harvard offers a barista degree. They pour coffee and write names on cups. But, if they want to throw their jobs away, go for it.
I agree the employees of Starbucks aren’t skilled workers. They can’t even make coffee right. Taste more like burnt shit. Then they want an astronomical raise for making coffee that isn’t fit for any living organism? They can all go to hell.
Years ago, I was traveling through a huge airport (forgot which one), could only find Starbucks which I dislike intensely – too bitter/burned. Did find a Seattle’s Best, chatted with barista there. She was terrific. I explained how awful Starbucks tasted to me – she shared that the owner of Seattle’s Best had been a roaster for Starbucks and that Starbucks over roasts their coffee. From then on, I was a Seattle’s Best fan. Unfortunately, Starbucks bought Seattle’s Best and now that tastes as bitter as Starbucks.
Starbuck’s design on the cup is a Satanic symbol, thus I boycott them. The coffee tastes burned and I really hate it.

I way prefer Dunkin Donuts to Starbucks coffee. Also Starbucks made their liberal Democratic politics a big part of their advertising so I have boycotted them for several years. They will no doubt eventually go out of business. I will not miss them at all.

If you want a job that pays more, go find one. Forcing any company to pay more than they want to is absurd. If they pay too little, no one will apply, and that will be on them to fix. But no one should be able to tell them how much they have to pay their employees. I dont care how much the CEO makes. You sign that contract BEFORE you start the job. You agree to that pay BEFORE you start. There isnt gonna be any businesses to work at soon. No wonder they are switching to machines.
And this crap forces smaller businesses to pay their employees more too and they already have very low profit margins thanks to the 50,000 other regulations they have to adhere to that the bigger businesses can bribe their way out of. It ends up only hurting the small businesses in the end. All by design. Knocking the best food places out and leaving us with McDonalds and Starbucks and such. Cuz believe me this isnt gonna hurt them one bit. There are suckers still lining up for that poison.
