She got her education from the public school system and was taught (indoctrinated) by the liberal college about how great socialism is in the classroom. When these people get into the real world, it takes them a long while to figure out the capitalism is the only system that works in America

I recently retired. Taught multiple subjects yrs in public middle school …10 yrs of it in World History, & every yr thereafter until retirement, taught at least one section of same. Once, I taught students in one hour about Socialism /Communism (believe me…it is NOT TAUGHT in our texts). After handing back a unit test, I told them I was going to take a grade off of A & B scores to share w/D & F scores. I explained socialist /communist reasoning. The C students were unmoved. A & B students were stunned & in all out protest. D & F students cheered & were generally obnoxious to disgruntled A & B students. I extended the lesson by addressing how one studies for the test, including my lead-up review prior. I asked students to write a private paragraph to me about how they would study for the next test. Across the board, no one professed a study-habit change, except A & B students, who quickly understood that studying to earn an A or B no longer mattered. They were resigned to becoming “average” or below, b/c it was no longer a matter of individuals earning their way by effort. Of course…the next day I told them this this was a “hands on lesson” abt Socialism/ Communism, & that their earned grades stood. These particular students are now 40 yrs old. I hope they’ve remembered this lesson.
