I second that emotion‼️Far too many have no idea what was going on, when F. S. Key penned the words to that N Anthem🤬 Key was all but a prisoner aboard a British ship watching “The Rockets Red Glare, The Bombs Bursting In Air” over Ft. McHenry. At the time, it was still questionable that America would win that battle, much less that war of 1812! The joy and relief to see “Our Flag Was Still There” had to be palpable‼️That so many are IGNORANT about American history is on display, when Americans FAIL to honor that Anthem! Doing ANYTHING except standing with your hand over your heart, or saluting, if in uniform, is showing your lack of education and ignorance. Our (non) education system FAILS America’s children by INDOCTRINATING them, not educating them. When college students name Clinton as America’s first president, as they say, “ANERICA WE HAVE A PROBLEM‼️”

You may have a point that the AMERICAN INDIANS got screwed during the 18th and 19th centuries. But many American Indians fought for the stars & stripes during the Spanish-American War, World War 1, World War 2, Korean War, Viet Nam War, and the Middle Eastern Wars. Are you dishonoring them?

The NFL just announced the league games will now start three hours late due to Irish-American anthems being sung, Puerto Rican Anthems being sung (in Spanish AND English), German-American anthems being sung, Japanese……………………………………..
Do not forget the Neandertal National Anthem – what, we should be limited only to existing subspecies? With a little effort, the singing of the first game could last all the way to the end of the season. Think of the ticket money you’d save. And your beer budget would drop like a rock!

How sadly desperate and preposterous – a “black national anthem.” And exactly what “nation” would that be the anthem of? Sad and desperate attempts to fabricate some imaginary fantasy that an “anthem” will somehow bring an “equity” that does not exist into being – which by itself undermines the very “equity” that it falsely implies is absent.
There is a national anthem. It is for all colors, races, sexes, and creeds. A nation is ONE agency. Not some smorgasbord of isolated minority groups all clamoring for status against each other. Or some cacophony of anthems all clamoring to be heard, creating a discordant phonic mess.
Dismiss tribalism. Blind yourself. Tribalism in America is counterproductive for the nation, and for the tribes. Black National Anthem, indeed – why would ANYONE waste time on such an absurdity?
