Marco Rubio’s speech to Europe is as significant as was Lincoln’s “House Divided” Speech to our nation before his first election, which was, of course, a warning about the N/S division over policies & the fruits that would come due to it would we not “do the right thing” about State’s Rights & slavery…which btw, ended prophetically. Rubio’s speech was an invitation/warning to throw over the virtue signaling “kindness” that is destroying cultures, national boundaries, & turning national economies into an untenable welfare states. He warned that “The US will not become the manager of Europe’s decline(even as we struggle to overcome symptoms of our own decline foisted upon us by open borders of the Biden-Harris ilk) It’s OK to love your country, welcome productive immigrants who contribute instead of take. But they must come vetted for just that, & must remain only at that cost. It’s OK to preserve your histories, customs, food & religious observances, & still welcome others who can maintain theirs without stripping you of yours. It’s OK to say “This is who we are. If you can live with us, please legally join us. Enjoy passing along your customs to your (now) American or European children, but allow us, too, to preserve & pass ours to our children. If you can’t, please stay home or search for another home, not here.”
Now, as to Alexandra Occasional Cortex: I’m going to be brief & “wax after Louisiana Senator John Kennedy’s leanings” by saying, “That woman is as dumb as a box of ROCKS.” I add…that could be insulting to a box of rocks….as, I could see, at least, a few ways a box of rocks could be of use to me or others.
