I get irritated when I see made in China on labels. We are quite capable of making stuff in our country. I recently called Comcast and I couldn’t understand a word she was saying. I think she was from India. Companies are out sourcing jobs because of greed.
I just left Comcast for that same reason Annie. What a despicable company it is !!
We need to forget about cancer and get all of our companies back over here.
I see these comments about bringing the supply chains back to the US as though it can be done overnight. It can’t, and it won’t while the economy is in a turmoil due to Trump’s reckless tariff programs. The CEOs and corporate boards that would oversee their company’s investment won’t invest during these times of turmoil because Trump is willy-nilly in his enforcement. Bringing back global supply chains back to the US is both impractical and expensive. It takes years if not decades to undo what has taken more than 30 years to create. It will also cost trillions of dollars in individual corporate investment. Then what? The reason products are produced outside the US is because the cost of labor in the US is much higher than overseas. Will Americans pay the extra cost, or will corporations try to lower worker’s pay to the same level as overseas workers? Not going to happen.
