I am white. Grew up in a small all white community. I have seen blacks who have been discriminated against. I have had blacks who have told of them being brutalized by whites. I need for me to remember that my experience is not their experience and to understand their mistrust of whites.
For a short time I lived in Southern Louisiana and I could feel the underlying dislike by whites and blacks. I initially was irritated when I entered a store or restaurant and find that I was being ignored by the black sales people or black waiters. I came to understand how stupid the southern whites were in their long, long term discrimination of blacks. It was their stupidity that caused this so I stopped being upset at being ignored and understood why. Also I was extremely grateful for the blacks that treated me respectfully.
I am a MAGA supporter with a better understanding (not close to perfect) of the mindset of some blacks. I believe it has improved but more improvement is necessary on both sides.
Prior to Obama being elected the tone of racism was quiet, yes it still existed but Obama was elected twice proving that the majority was not practicing racists. Obama reignited active racism by making martyrs of criminals and villains of law enforcement. The era of videos was upon us where every incidence was posted, even now the brawls in stores and cruise ships spreads across the internet feeding racism.
The democrats use racism as their main tool during elections. They pander to the minorities, the blacks, with speeches about how oppressed they are, how unfairly they are treated and if you vote for them they, the democrats, will make things better. (Obama did nothing for the black communities or people) They get elected and do nothing, if they were to improve the lives of minorities they would lose their main platform issue.
I think blacks are waking up to being used, I hope so. To those who post the videos of unruly blacks, you are doing your race a disservice. These people are not the norm. They feed racism and the democrats work from it.
Obama sure did not help his race because he promoted racism that further divided the white and back race. Obama could have brought the USA together but instead it became political which further divided the black and white race. Obama did not do his race and justice or help them with bettering themselves in terms of jobs, money, family, education. Obama was a great speaker but that was his gift.
He was only a great EVIL speaker.

I can’t stand it when they talk over each other and it’s done on purpose when caught. I grew up in the late 60s/70s and in my community we got along with the black/browns. We didn’t have a lot, but we had them in our schools and we ate lunch with them. There was a father and a mother raising the children. They worked and owned homes in their own community and they were content doing so.
