I think this was the best time to revamp the welfare/snap program. Start with drug testing and most important; most of these people can work. In my time on earth, I’m over 65, I have NEVER been on welfare or snap. I had 2 kids and for the most part always had a job. We need to get people to work and not waiting for free money delivered to them each month.
They showed up for surgery with their designer purses, fancy phones, and screamed at the staff. I worked close to 80 hours most weeks, some it hit 90 and I raised 2 children. I drove them to weekend classes at a college on weekends, they were in grade school at the time.
They need to get off their butts and go to work, we didn’t cause their lack of food, they did by their laziness.
A lot of people have jobs, but some of their jobs hardly pay enough to pay the rent, insurances and or car note. They need snap to help feed their families.. Laziness has nothing to do with it. But, you are right..The couch potatoes need to get up or get thrown out…
