Even if he DID take the money from undercover FBI agents,
1) why was it offered? ENTRAPMENT;
2) he’d have taken it as a private citizen – no crime;
3) admission would give the Dems reason to launch a slander campaign against him that would diminish his effectiveness – which they’d love, but which would be distinctly against the interests of the country – an interest of no concern to Democrats.
Are there circumstances in which he takes the money, does nothing in exchange, and it’s OK? It smells – but we don’t know what the deal was. And we can’t find out, because the FBI is engaged in entrapment – as it was with General Flynn, as it was with Trump, as it was with Peter Navarro, et al ad nauseam. Their credibility is DIRT.
