Well, as for Chi Osse beating Hakeem Jeffries, in the Congressional race, and taking his seat, in the House of Representatives, this will be just one more nail in the coffin, of what once was a great city: New York. New York is heading DOWNHILL, so far, so fast…that I doubt that electing even an open, avowed member of the American Communist Party, to any position of political leadership, in New York City–will make any difference, whatsoever! NYC already has one quarter of its 8 million people BELOW the poverty line. And that translates into potentially TWO MILLION PEOPLE HOMELESS, and lining the streets and alleys with tents, filled with drug addiction, homelessness, and endless, miserable, grinding POVERTY. And this comes directly from the liberal policies and ideas, of all those who ruled New York BEFORE Mamdani and Chi came along. Of course, they in their socialist/communist desperation–will only make it WORSE, for New York City–not better…but, that is no concern for me, at the moment, lying here in a more conservative suburb, far outside the NYC borders. Here in central NJ, we have markets that work, driven only by competition for profit, and nothing else–certainly not by any govt mandate. And many people here have gone back to work, as the Biden-era dysfunctionality subsides. Things are getting better, even here in blue NJ, with Trump & the conservative Republicans running the national administration. And especially so, now that the futile Democrat-caused govt shutdown, has ended. We are all getting back to business–and I am NOT going to NYC, anytime soon, for sure! Why would I, when life is so much BETTER, out here–where capitalism still thrives, huh? Let those commies implode upon themselves, over in NYC; not many of us have any reason to go over there, anymore–in the first place! What has New York got, anyway–that we don’t have over here, and better? And that reminds me, I just cooked my $9.07 turkey, tonight, that I bought last week at a nearby Walmart. I used my landlady’s oven (at no extra charge), cooked it perfectly, enjoyed eating some of it quite a bit, and will gladly share it with everyone here, tomorrow (they’re all asleep now, at 1253am, Wed nite). Unlike in liberal/socialist NYC, where food prices are out of control, I’ve been eating here in Jersey very well, at very little cost–and enjoying the benefits of capitalism (even as a retired senior, with very little income)–quite a bit! And, I sent some mighty angry messages, both voicemail and email, to my 2 US Senators here, demanding them to end the Democratic Party-caused federal govt shutdown–as I’m sure that many other ordinary citizens here also did, to those 2 Democrats. They may not have yielded to enormous public pressure, but at least 8 other Democratic Party senators in other states DID–and voted to end the shutdown–caused by Democratic Party intransigence against fiscal responsibility. And they were forced to yield to the Republicans and end the shutdown–without any political gain whatsoever–for having the shutdown, in the first place! All that TROUBLE, caused solely by the Democratic Party–for NOTHING!!!! And now with commies like Mamdani and Chi f’ing things up, the Dems will become even LESS popular, nationwide–showcasing the utter FAILURE of their govt control, and govt mandated ideas.
