This is by the design of the Left/Progressives. Their philosophy has permeated public education. When you allow the federal government to interfere with and dictate policy to state and local boards of education this is what you get. Public education is the purview of the states and local boards of education, not the federal government Real academic achievement and actual learning have taken secondary positions to social issues and indoctrination as illustrated in this video. Citizens must come together and wrest control of their boards of education to return schools to their real focus.
