THAT’S THE PROBLEM. Criminals need to be CRIMINALIZED, loud and long and clear.
“Why would anybody say this?” is a fair question. There are people, normally family, friends or social contacts, who cannot accept that anybody would “do such things”. This cannot be the one I know…
as if there is some special quality in people they think they know. After that, there is some excuse for the crime being committed. Those who have something to gain, enable, entice, drive, force and profit from those people which is both despicable and criminal. The laws of a civil society are the key to a stable civilization. Whether selected by their own desire or the lure of others seeking profit, it is criminal behavior. Those who enable or force these criminal actions are at the very least, responsible for the crime. In these cases, there are politicians, from the top down, enabling criminal actions. Voters who put up with and keep criminal racketeers in government at every level are also enabling criminal behavior. “Throw the bums out” was once a popular slogan. Today, it should be popular as a moral imperative. I am not leaving the people who leverage and push decriminalization of crime, in public media, out. They are free to speak their mind, as are we all. That in itself does not excuse enablers of crime. There should be public debates to expose that kind of thinking and it’s consequences.
