As a Nigerian, I know that slave traders would never, I repeat NEVER, come into any country to pick up citizens of the country without the help of the traditional rulers. They should hold the traditional rulers responsible for selling their own people, rather taxing the American people for what they know nothing about.
Vote buying. That’s all reparations are. The only reparations should be a ticket back to whatever part of Africa their forefathers came from, if that. How about reparations for the families of those that fought and died to free the slaves? Democrats do nothing out of the goodness of their hearts, but only to buy votes and enrich themselves.

Of all these individuals who demand the X amount of money be paid to those demand reparations need to have “THEIR” DNA and heritage checked to see if their families owe money to those the scream for. What a better reason to check and see who owes money to whom. I ‘ve been watching Henry Gates do show on both white and black individuals about their families past and the more I watch the more I realize that there are all kinds of surprises that turn up for the individual learning their past. Since we do have some very good history detectives perhaps time we find out more about all of these WOKE individuals to see what and why the deem it the rest of the country’s to carry the burden for those who would become millionaires whilst others who did become rich and famous pursued and purservered. So many came to our shores with nothing more then the clothes on their backs. Irish, Italians, Jews from all over Europe escaping the wiping out of the families…. individuals fleeing persecution from all over the world. No reparations WHY. 1. White people from America did not go to Africa and round up blacks. It was blacks in Africa who round up their own people and sold them to the English, who in return sold blacks to Whites. So go back to Africa and get your money from them. 2. Slavery ended over 150yrs ago. and ancestors of slave owners should not be punished for past mistakes (likes get all the people who killed others in the past and punish their families today). 3. Many people like my grandparents came to America in the early 20’s and early 30’s (from Italy) they did NOT own slaves, so why should I pay for it. 4. Blacks should be thankful to old White men (Rep) for the 14th amendment because those old White men could have sent you all back to Africa. 5. If you do get money, who to say your children and grandkids and great grandkids won’t demand reparation. Where will it end. 5. It’s all about money, well get off your lazy butt and work.
Last I checked, California was a Yankee state that allied themselves with the rest of the Northern states. That means it was always illegal to own slaves in California. I realize that now California is filled with stupid Marxist racist lazy dummycrats. Instead of reparations it would make more sense to round up California’s black population and make pick grapes for the wineries. Got to be easier than picking cotton. The only reparation the blacks deserve is a free trip back to Africa. If there’s any ethnic group that deserve reparations it’s the American Indians.
