My son who is a delivery driver saved up $50,000 to buy a starter home. The pandemic hit and Blackrock and big investors swooped in and bought up all the choice real estate driving the prices up for working and middle class buyers. My son went out to buy and couldn’t find anything under $250,000 that wasn’t in complete disrepair in a run down neighborhood. The American dream is gone for most millenials.
