I have seen more lefty-nutbag with a gun shooting stories, than good people with a gun stopping them,…. But then again there are more lefties out there killing folks Than there are good folks who even carry,….personally I am selective WHERE I even carry,…. Because I live out in a Rural area where EVERYONE is recognized, there is not much need ! when I go to town a 45minute drive away I KNOW and recognize folks so seldom,…. I Carry,…. also I own,…. exactly One Self loading pistol,…. Conversely, I own multiple Revolvers or “wheel guns”, can draw and fire in about one second,…. not very quickly in the grand scheme,…. But when I shoot, I have been to the range recently,….
count on it !,….and when I shoot “On the fly” I more often than Not hit a “kill shot”,…. I seems knowing that you only Have six,…. makes you NOT, Tend to waste them,…. a couple years ago I had to shoot a stray , attacking my livestock in the wee hours of the morning, One shot from the low position and I went back to bed, end of story,…. what made it funny was that I was in the west field in my boxers flashlight in one hand, pistol in the other, Aggravated at being up at that hour, Tended to business and returned to bed,…. A ” mag-dump ” around here is two to three shots, usually hunting birds, and when I hear of a local cop firing 15,16,17 rounds, I generally offer him a trip to the Range with me,…. I find that being laughed at for 10 to 13 misses tends to Improve your shooting,…. and A small Amount of practice helps a lot.
