You know, if you read the scriptures, you realize that we will all be judged someday by Christ when he returns (2 Corinthians 5:10) . But, those who choose to ‘lead God’s people’ (see 1 & 2 Timothy for more info.) will be held to a much higher standard if they pervert or distort God’s Word in a way that it fits their narrative as opposed to God’s plan and instruction. I would not want to be in her shoes come Judgment Day!
In addition – if you don’t like the following take it up with the Author of our Salvation. I didn’t write the book! Romans 1 records the spiritual road to degradation of mankind. In Romans 1:18 God tells us that the ‘wrath of God’ will be revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness against those who suppress the truth. (The word suppress in the Greek can also be translated to distort or to pervert, or to hold down – in this context it is more accurately translated pervert because it directly points to a subject matter of action of ungodliness.)
If you read from Romans 1:1 through 18, it lays out how man screws up his life. It explains that God designed Nature itself and it declares our Lord, and so we are without excuse to not acknowledge him and give him the homage and adoration he deserves. Furthermore, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God. It goes on to say that man was UNTHANKFUL, and because of these two things, he became vain in his imaginations – (from the Greek his ability to reason became perverted, distorted, – the word ‘vain’ in Greek is the word ’empty’ minded.) And after all of that his ‘foolish heart became darkened.’ Then it goes on to say how homosexuality and perversions (i.e. pedophilia) came into play. They are the ‘fruit’ of denying God in our lives and being unthankful for his blessings. I don’t judge homosexuals, and they are welcome to come to my church, but I DO NOT condone the act because God says it’s wrong. It is caused by Satanic influence. (Ephesians 6:12) Like it or not folks, that’s scripture. And that’s what God says, not me! I just follow his word and love him.

If I were attending that service; I would have sat in the front row and once she started delivering HER views I would have ‘graciously’ stood up and walked out — hoping the congregation would follow. That was not the time and place to talk politics. Totally uncalled for. The rest is history!!

Myself , I’ll stay home and pray to my Lord , and if I was sitting in that church , no way would that woman have kept running her mouth.
