“No more illegal immigration means no more immigration at all”

Democrats really showing their hand

The United States Constitution never said that anyone who wanted to come to our country had the god-given right to do that.

  1. The US has welcomed one million legal immigrants into our country each year, for decades. It’s the illegal ones whom we don’t want.

  2. Anyone who doesn’t like this, how many more of those who think that they are owed our place to live, how many have you housed or actually helped? Then there are the ones who refuse to assimilate and still want the free stuff, like we owe them something, but we do not….then the ones who are scamming federal funding, and you know who you are…..have screwed over those who probably would have gone through the proper process to enter…so, like the saying goes, it only takes one bad apple to make the whole basket stink. Sorry for your luck. 🤔

    • There have always been people who think they are entitled to something for nothing. It isn’t limited to any group…there are citizens who think they are entitled, who think parents, colleges and government are responsible for supporting them. I don’t know anyone, Republican or Democrat, who supports that. Fraud and Scammers should be prosecuted. That includes people in high places who are profiting and not paying taxes. I am interested to know what you mean by “assimilation”. Should we all be exactly alike? I personally take issue with immigrants who left their fascist countries in the 1900s for a better life, and are fighting hard to rework our democracy. If you mean we should all practice the same religion and do away with Christian churches who have a different interpretation of bible and doctrine than yours along with any other religion, if you mean that we need a national language and should ban books you don’t agree with (for example) then I think you are missing not only the letter and intent of our constitution and laws, but of the richness of life this country has provided historically.

  3. Why do you suppose these “asylum” seekers pass through, more often than not, several countries before landing here to claim asylum? If they were so fearful to remain in their own countries, you would ‘think’ they would see asylum in the first country they encountered in their escape!

  4. Sonya could have confused the issue had they used the phrase “arrived AT the border. IN the border makes her argument moot – and was most likely deliberate.

  5. No “temporary protected” status. This shit has gotta stop. If they’re on the Mexican side of the border, we DO NOT have to let them in here. They’re in Mexico and they’re Mexico’s problem.
