He’s not a US citizen, he was here illegally and he had a deportation order. That means he could be picked up and deported at any time. President Bukele does not have to “do the right thing” and send an El Salvador citizen back to the USA. Enough said?
I read that the SC ruled that he can be deported to any other prison except the one in question in El Salvador because his life could be in danger from rival gang members. Fine, just move him – just not back to the US. Problem solved.
