Bless you brother. If I could go back 60-70 years and live with grandpa and grandma on the farm again I’d do it in a heartbeat. I can see now that living poor was actually a blessing – it taught us so much about ourselves and caring and helping one another. Those men and women that came out of the WWII era were the greatest! Sadly, everything they gave us is being ridiculed and destroyed before our eyes.
my wife and I are empty-nesters and live in a 3,200 sq. ft. house and are getting ready to sell it so we can downsize and pay cash for the next house. People look at us like we’ve lost our mind because ‘this is the American dream’ to live in homes that are too big and to have stuff we don’t need. Done with it…just give me debt-free living and we’ll be as happy as ever. Good message, Buddy.
