in all venues, No one is perfect but a higher standard should be

for a reason. It’s to ensure that qualified people are doing them.
For a realtor or a plumber consequences for an error may cost a few
Dollars but generally there is nothing of a life threatening magnitude.
Not so with a surgeon, a medical researcher, a pilot or an Air Traffic
Controller where a missed step in a procedure or instruction could be
fatal for any number of people.
Suppose those planes did not meet over the river, but over a school
or a hospital, A city like New York or Philadelphia, A Stadium where a
game or concert is in progress. Don’t say it can’t happen, because I know personally of 5 crashes. One in a neighbor’s yard 3 doors away.
