The problem is about more than just not hiring men – it’s specifically about not hiring WHITE men – even though they still make up the highest percentage of the most qualified pilots. It’s obvious that the airlines are more concerned with maintaining their woke appearance than the actual safety of their passengers, which is why I have no intention of ever getting on another plane again. I don’t give a rst’s a** about their f-ing DEI programs, particularly when my own life is on the line. It’s hard to say how many billions of dollars worth of equipment has to be destroyed, not to mention billions in lawsuits, before the airlines themselves start to question the wisdom of DEI. When an airline’s priority is anything other than hiring the BEST available crew, that company deserves to go out of business. Yet our government will never allow that to happen – our hard earned tax dollars will go toward propping up these “too woke to fail” organizations. The bottom line is this: today’s airlines can no longer be trusted. Even though there is still a great number of very skilled pilots flying today, how do we know if we’re lucky enough to be on their flight as opposed to some far less skilled hire who happened to have the “right” color skin or the “proper” genitalia? No thanks!
