I do not remember Trump threatening anyone with accidents. I do remember Maxine Waters saying (in front of the cameras) “I will take out Donald Trump tonight!” I also remember Gretchen Whitmer holding a sign up during Trump’s first term that read 8645. Also, democrat candidate Paula Collins (back in 2024), during a Zoom call, said that it may be necessary to send Trump voters to reeducation camps (just let them try that!).
By contrast, I see that Trump has said over time that various republicans could face “serious consequences”. That is a fr cry from threatening violence. He did say that he would bring back waterboarding but, as usual, the context was missing.
