The Democrats in Congress refusing to even allow a moment of silence proves this isn’t just a fringe group in the Democratic Party. It IS the Democratic Party. They’re the problem. Peaceful separation is the only way forward. We can’t coexist with people who think it’s acceptable to end someone for their speech.
Megan, I was with you until just before the end. Your comments about the execution of Charlie’s murderer, to me don’t seem to be different from what we hear about Charlie from the left. You’re better than that. We’re better than that. Emotions are powerful; I understand your feelings but I was taught 75 years ago by the nuns that emotions are to be harnessed and used to motivate. Never let them control you. It was a difficult lesson to learn and at 84 I’m still trying to apply it.
