My question, since this is food processing plant, were these people tested for TB and other contagious diseases before they were hired to handle food. Scary that management was so “surprised ” and blaming our government.

Employers know full-well that they are hiring illegal aliens. In past years, some meat-packing companies even hired Mexican nationals to go to Mexico and recruit workers. When you pay workers who are bi-lingual to interpret for your work force, you know damn well they aren’t here on work visas. Many Republican politicians also cover for companies by giving a pass on immigration enforcement through lax verification standards. Employers are not paying into FICA and pocketing the difference and paying the illegals less than standard wages. Start prosecuting employers first. At least those illegals are willing to work.
