In the early 60’s the guys towed a wrecked 1957 Chevy into our body shop on a Friday night. Those cars had air ducts inside the front fenders. The owner had run into a herd of sheep in the dead of winter, about 20 below zero (North Dakota). The guys put the car inside so it would be warm when the estimate was to be done. When the guys came in on Monday morning, they quickly shoved the car back outside. As it turns out, the ducts were full of sheep “parts” and had filled the shop with an eye watering aroma. Lesson learned. The car was disassembled out side a few days later when every thing had froze up again. Cold work, but still better the the alternative. I was 7 or 8 at the time and I still remember.
