I would have done the same. Justified!! They need to open up mental institutions in every state in this country. This canāt go on they need to be put away. They donāt belong to be in with society because this is exactly what happens. This officer was justified. It couldāve gone the other way easily.

This car owner cured the perpertrator of his “schizo-affective disorder”. He deserves at the very least an honorary medical degree because psychiatrists never seem to cure this “disorder”. I wonder if all car jackers have “schizo-affective disorder”. I wonder if all car jackers deserve to be shot.

I would have done the exact same thing!! Sorry, the mentally ill should be off the streets. We all have the right to protect ourselves and our families.

I would do exactly what the father did. I wouldn’t have felt good about it. But, as someone who’s been robbed with firearmed assailants. It’s pretty much impossible to get the drop on me, you come at me or mine with intent to do bodily harm, bring your own body bag they’ll need it to put you in. I, won’t apologize for defending me or mine.
That officer did the right thing. If this guy has these mental issues he should never have been allowed to walk the streets. Problem solved. Move on to next dirtbag.
