Automatic curizenship if you’re born on U.S. soil has been blatantly abused. Pregnant women come into this country to have a baby so its a citizen and have the rights of a citizen. We need to restrict this right to only those born of a U S. Citizen or a person who has come into this country with the intention of becoming a citizen and loving this country wanting to do their part in making this a better place not coming here to destroy our beautiful country.

It was actually an amendment to benefit black people who had been freed from slavery. They were not considered citizens, and the reason for the 14th amendment was to give them legal citizenship. It further specifies that there can be no allegiance to any other country, which rules out allowing a foreigner to give birth in this country in order to make the child an automatic citizen. No other country recognizes birthright citizenship, which often leads to chain migration.
