One thing that needs to be cleared up. The Constitution guarantees that the press has access to White House briefings, but that guarantee does not extend to being inside the briefing room. Access to the briefing room requires a so-called hard pass. The administration controls who gets the passes, but denying passes cannot be based on the news organization having different viewpoints. That has not stopped other presidents from trying. Obama tried something similar with Fox News and only relented when the other news organizations stood in solidarity, stating that they would not be their either if Fox was excluded. The Biden administration did the same thing with some conservative outlets:

As I stated previously, access to the White House briefing room is not guaranteed, but cannot be denied on the basis of ideology or viewpoints. However, any news organization that reported that ICE kidnapped a five year-old boy, and never retracted it when the truth came out, deserves to be banned. In no universe can spreading such a despicable lie be dignified as ideology or viewpoint. The truth in that case was that the boy was with his father (who was in the country illegally) in a car. When his father saw ICE approaching, he bailed out and ran, abandoning his son in the car. ICE stayed with the child, got him something to eat at a fast-food drive-thru, and tried to hand him over to other family members (who refused to take him). This is just one example. Hence, if CNN, MSNOW, and Politico were guilty of perpetrating that lie, and they never retracted it, I say good riddance to bad rubbish. They are beyond the pale and beyond the reach of the first amendment.
Trump gets more like a disgusting dictator every day. The insecure orange turd can’t stand having anyone pointing out all his failures, corruption and poor economic policy. Instead of helping the country, he decides we need an arch, a ballroom and his chosen names for bodies of water, or his name on the Kennedy Centre. Hopefully he will be impeached and arrested by the end of this year.

Any leader who tries to censor the free press is called a dictator. Putin is a prime example of doing the same thing, even eliminating his political enemies. That’s why Trump admires him so much. Did you really believe all his election promises? Hope you’re enjoying the lower gas and grocery prices, lower deficit, ending all wars, healthcare plan, tariff refunds, DOGE checks, etc? All lies.
