As a 65 yr. old white woman, I love your messages & respect you very much. Unfortunately, there’s so much mental illness out there, period. All races, all ages, & different levels of lunacy. I didn’t have the best childhood growing up. Both my parents were immigrants and no matter how hard they worked, we were never more than lower income. I ended up being an only child. My older sister died at 3 in a drowning accident, and both my brothers died at birth so my parents were extremely strict with me and I rebelled because I wasn’t allowed to go anywhere, no sleepovers etc. But, they taught me respect for authority, teachers, elders, compassion & a very huge work ethic. I could have taken the wrong path because at one point I was very angry, resentful because I had to often translate for them and I didn’t have much of a childhood. So when I see anyone acting like that I feel bad for them. But on the other hand I get angry because no one loved them enough to teach them what I was taught and they carry that chip on their shoulder and act out. Keep doing what you’re doing. You’re awesome and honorable. You’re doing your audience a great service!
