Sorry that the immigrants are homeless but the American people have been homeless, help home first.
Can you imagine what 5 billion dollars could have done for our own US citizens in New York? Could have housed every homeless US citizen, fed them and schooled them and trained them for employment.
While I sympathize with people that want freedom and a better chance to live free that have been told they are welcome to come to America. giving up everything and spending all they had to get here. First they have been lied to. Americans have created a nation they cold live free within. it cost many lives to do it. can we not expect citizens of other nations to take action and free themselves of their oppression before expecting someone else to do it for them? America did this for too many countries and spending our own wealth and blood as a gift for freedom only to have the people sit back and let a corrupt government retake their land. is it then our responsibility to open our arms to let these people without the fortitude to determine their ownfreedom in the country they were born in to secure their own freedom first? we are a generious nation. our capasity to service the world is limited. we now have our own problems and must care for our own first. removing these people and securing our borders is first. solving the problem may be distastfull and may seem crule but if America cieces to exist then who will help them?——- I, Grampa
