1. Please show me the part of our constitution that grants powers to protect the citizens from insult or hurt feelings? In your next conversation with anyone ask them what part of our constitution gives us our rights? most will answer the bill of rights.

   Showing their ignorance about how little is taught about our government. This is how government gets away with passing laws that grant powers to government under the guise of protecting the people.

   Regulations and guidelines that soon become requirements and soon become mandatory mandates that become laws that prosecute and violate the rights of citizens. This is what I see as the word redskins was removed because it hurt someone’s feelings.

   Why was the label “redskins” used to begin with? Because it represented something tough and feared, unafraid and representing something to hold with respect or you shall regret it.
   It was meant to instill a feeling that they are going up against an opponent they will lose against. just how does this offer insult?

   Yet the political powers used this to define as HATE. So what did it accomplish? Government’s ability to limit free speech. A regulation, a guideline that was accepted as gov. Protecting the small minds from thought required from people able to think for themselves.

   Because it met with no opposition, it was soon a mandate and laws that could be prosecuted. We now see this accelerating as government expands its agencies’. Agencies that are unelected by the people. Agencies that expand these regulations into mandates that are prosecuted by corrupt prosecutors. This is how the government sidesteps the controls of our constitution.

   We have but one part of government that still offers protection, our courts. Even their powers to hold gov. accountable is faltering as the justices are replaced with politicly correct judges.

   Judges that no longer apply the laws but interpret them. I having both friends and relatives that are American Indian find no objection from any to the use of any tribal reference as objective.
   The few that do are usually convinced that any reference is a personal insult to themselves. Looking closely, we would find many of low education level and the type that can be influenced easily by others. This is but one example of how government grabs and expands its powers.

   it is easy to find others. Seat belts in cars is one. it went from requirements of automakers to install them to “protect” people to prosecution and loss of licence if not used. Which also offers insurance companies the opportunity to raise your rates.

   Gov. expands its rule one small step at a time. The use of the word redskins violates our free speech. Only we the people can stop this expansion. time to move and make your voice heard while you still have one.—I, Grampa
