1. Vote? WHY?? What good does it do? Who has DIRECT control over WHO is chosen to serve in the governments of men? Satan, who is noted in the Bible as being the God of this system of things; 2 Cor. 3:3 If, in fact, the good news we declare is veiled, it is veiled among those who are perishing, 4 among whom the god of this system of things has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, so that the illumination of the glorious good news about the Christ, who is the image of God, might not shine through. 5 For we are preaching, not about ourselves, but about Jesus Christ as Lord and ourselves as your slaves for Jesus’ sake. – Who are those who walk in the footsteps of Jesus and preach the Good News WORLD WIDE? The name Jesus translates as “Jehovah is salvation.” So Jesus, from birth, walked in the Holy Name of Almighty Jehovah God.
   The Bible refers to Satan the Devil as “the god of this system of things.” (2Co 4:4) That Satan is the “god” there referred to is clearly indicated later in verse 4 where it says that this god “has blinded the minds of the unbelievers.” At Revelation 12:9 he is said to be “misleading the entire inhabited earth.” Satan’s control over the present system of things, including its governments, was indicated when he offered Jesus “all the kingdoms of the world” in exchange for “an act of worship.”—Mt 4:8, 9.
   The worshipful adoration that men direct toward their idol-gods actually goes “to demons, and not to God.” (1Co 10:20; Ps 106:36, 37) Jehovah God requires exclusive devotion. (Isa 42:8) The one who worships an idol-god denies the true God and thus serves the interests of Jehovah’s chief Adversary, Satan, and his demons. From the Bible, explaining what is revealed here; Luke 4:5 Luke So he (Satan) brought him (Jesus) up and showed him all the kingdoms of the inhabited earth in an instant of time. 6 Then the Devil said to him: “I will give you all this authority and their glory, because it has been handed over to me, and I give it to whomever I wish. 7 If you, therefore, do an act of worship before me, it will all be yours.” — Any questions about why there is so much corruption in man’s governments? 2. Helmet – Put on the breastplate of faith and love and the hope of salvation as a helmet.—1 Thess. 5:8.
   Our hope acts as a figurative helmet that protects our thinking and safeguards us from choosing a self-indulgent lifestyle, which would spoil our relationship with Almighty Jehovah God (Psalms 83:18) (1 Cor. 15:33, 34). Our helmet of hope can also protect us from thinking that there is no point in even trying to please Jehovah. Recall that Job’s false comforter Eliphaz used similar reasoning with Job. Eliphaz said: “What is mortal man that he should be pure?” Further, he said of God: “Look! He has no faith in his holy ones, and even the heavens are not pure in his eyes.” (Job 15:14, 15) What lies! Remember who is behind such thinking—Satan. He knows that if you allow yourself to dwell on such thoughts, your hope will fade. Instead, reject such lies. Never doubt that Jehovah wants you to live forever and that He will help you to reach that goal. What is the key to everlasting life? Well, why did Adam die? He was created PERFECT, but he lost that perfection…. How? Disobedience? Or, was it actually a failure to obey? And, of course, that is what it was; A FAILURE TO OBEY. Jesus is NOW our ruling King and He sits on Almighty Jehovah’s throne in Heaven. Jesus, the day before he was killed, gave us his authority AND also commands to be followed by those who would walk with him; Matt 28:18 – 20.
   Make no mistake about this; time is NOW very short. We have been notified that the Great Tribulation is VERY close. VERY CLOSE! When that starts, the door to salvation is CLOSED forever.
