It’s hard to agree that Mike Johnson is a good leader, quiet or otherwise, when he hasn’t accomplished anything. MTG, screams a lot, but she doesn’t seem to get anything accomplished for the American people, but giving us headaches.
Maybe Johnson is so quiet that we can’t hear (or see) his accomplishments. All I’ve seen done was passing a compromise that Keven McCarthy was ousted for just suggesting.
The Republicans seem to be dragging their feet, but people seem to forget, when Trump ran and ultimately elected the first time, it wasn’t just the Democrats that hated and wanted him out. Some of that same animosity has made itself obvious in recent times. Was McCarthy ousted because of his compromise which ended up being passed, or his backing of the (carefully hidden) hated Trump? I hear people say, “Why don’t the Republicans do something about these sham trials?” Think about it, if they stay “quiet,” their hands remain clean.
So, I’ll reserve my praise for when and if I ever see the Republican leadership actually do what they say.
Compromising is one thing, but bending over for whatever the democrats want, is not compromising! The democrats need to start compromising, something Nancy and Chuck absolutely didn’t do!
For those Republicans that are pro-Trump, what exactly can they do without the support of the rest of the Republican Party? There are those that are pro-Trump, some that are middle of the line and those that are against Pres. Trump. It needs to be unity or it fails, period. The voters of the middle of the line and the anti-Trump Republicans are the problem. Exactly what do they want?? The ones that are the loudest that can make a difference are the ones that are voted against. The ones in the middle are almost as dangerous as the total anti-Trump. This is actually not about Trump as a person, it’s about what Trump has done and will do again as our next President. Sh*t or get off of the pot! Stop voting for personality and start voting for America!! I personally love Trump both personally and as America’s hope. Look at the alternative if you’re not on board!!
Socialists currently run our Government and we will not see any changes until Trump is re-elected and then hopefully conservatives take the majority in both the House & Senate @ the mid terms. Then and only then can we experience a recovery of our Republic. With only a small majority currently in the House, the Republican Party is weak and as we see, can accomplish very little. A major transformation in DC is required. Prey and vote MAGA!
If and when this happens, the republicans need to abolish the unconstitutional alphabet soup agencies, if they don’t, they will never be able to rid this nation of the embedded socialist’s and Marxists that make up the criminal government?
What we need is to make sure that we re-elect Trump (who was cheated out of the last election) and defeat the EVIL DEMOCRATS. This country has been turned upside down by the EVIL DEMOCRATS. We all have seen how they have willfully ignored the Constitution, when they took an oath to uphold and defend it. They CANNOT be allowed to rule — in the White House, the House or the Senate, OR in our local offices. They all belong to the same EVIL ideology! And I will go one step farther in stating that those who still vote for them are, at this point, nothing more than the REAL domestic enemies — that meritless garland has called the parents who have tried to stand up to their evil agendas in the classrooms!
The Trinity — Where did this teaching come from? The trinity is NOT in the Bible!! — The New Testament;
The New Testament contains no explicit Trinitarian doctrine. However, many Christian theologians, apologists, and philosophers hold that the doctrine can be inferred from what the New Testament does teach about God. But how may it be inferred? Is the inference deductive, or is it an inference the best explanation? And is it based on what is implicitly taught there, or on what is merely assumed there? Many Christian theologians and apologists seem to hold it is a deductive inference. (So men claim that they can deduce what the Bible means instead of what the Bible actually says. Got it?)
In contrast, other Christians admit that their preferred doctrine of the Trinity not only (1) can’t be inferred from the Bible alone, but also (2) that there’s inadequate or no evidence for it there, and even (3) that what is taught in the Bible is incompatible with the doctrine. These Christians believe the doctrine solely on the authority of later doctrinal pronouncements of the (so-called) True Christian Church (typically one of: the Catholic Church, the Eastern Orthodox tradition, or the mainstream of the Christian tradition, broadly understood). Some Catholic apologists have argued that this doctrine shows the necessity of the teaching authority of the Church, this doctrine being constitutive of Christianity but underivable from the Bible apart from the Church’s guidance in interpreting it. This stance is not popular among Christians who are neither Catholic nor Eastern Orthodox would be the main sticking point, although some groups deny all three. (Please think on this point deeply; there are now more than 41,000 different so-called Christian churches, all of whom use the doctrine of the Catholic OR Eastern Orthodox church. That number reeks of division, which is listed in the Bible as a work of the flesh, and NOT of the Spirit of God.) What has caused this division within so-called Christianity? Love of money, of course, that ‘love’ being more important than actual service to the Almighty through faith. I was raised as a Catholic. The last time I was in a ‘catholic’ church, they passed the donation basket 3 times and that had been going on for some time by then. That was enough for me. I had always donated, but! Donations should be freely given through faith, and not by constant prodding to do so.
Many Christian apologists argue that the doctrine of the Trinity is “biblical” (i.e. either it is implicitly taught there, or it is the best explanation of what is taught there) using three sorts of arguments. They begin by claiming that the Father of Jesus Christ is the one true God taught in the Old Testament. They then argue that given what the Bible teaches about Christ and the Holy Spirit, they must be “fully divine” as well. Thus, we must, as it were, “move them within” the nature of the one God. Therefore, there are three fully divine persons “in God”. While this may be paradoxical, it is argued that this is what God has revealed to humankind through the Bible. The BIG problem with this is simple; the Holy Spirit is NOT a ‘person’! It is God’s active force that He uses for His creative work.
Please note this; It is not hard to understand, once you actually look into this so-called doctrine, that this is a Satanic teaching that runs counter to the Word of God, the Bible. Mike Johnson could take some lessons from MTG. He is not a street fighter and he need to be. This is why Jim Jordan would have been a better choice. That is water under the bridge. If Johnson does not learn a thing or two from Jordan, MTG. The Republican will no longer have a chance at keep control of the House. I have been around a long time and I would say the Republican Party is on their way to EXILE for another 40 years. Some of us can remember that time period.
