Been ages since I’ve agreed with Rand, but on this I do – TOTALLY!!! When my relatives immigrated here, they had to have sponsors, a place to live, a job and a complete bill of good health before they were allowed to step foot in this country. That’s the way it should be! We are not a debit card.
Senator Paul has a valid point. Being able to LEGALLY immigrate to America is a privilege. They should be able to contribute to American society, not take from it. We have enough burdens on taxpayers.
Finally someone who has looked at this and has a real solution. Years ago I worked for the Social Security Administration and every day we would get people from other countries (usually MiddleEastern) coming to the office applying for SSI. They demanded their “pension” even though they just arrived and never worked a day in their life in the US. They had money but before coming into the office they hid their monies with their relatives (usually their son/daughter). We couldn’t stop the fraud-we could only process their claim per federal law. This continues to this day and it’s getting worse-more fraud and sneaky ways of gaming the system.

The Muslims hate us so why should we have to feed them, provide welfare at our expense. I fail to understand why we give so much money to other countries when we have so much debt. Both sides of congress have failed the American people for years.

I don’t get this guy. He fights against most of Trump’s policies, then he comes up with this. We should not be giving anything, to people who never paid taxes here. Maybe, after ten years of working and paying taxes, they could qualify for assistance. Only if they assimilate and commit no crimes.
