I worked for a local environmental agency and retired from there in a city ran by Dumbocrats. Needless to say, the directors were all political hacks and the last one I worked under was an admitted lover of the USSR. I am a white, straight, conservative guy and had lots of discrimination against me. It was blatant the way guys like myself were negatively treated and probably in hope that we would get tired of it and quit. Non whites, homosexuals, and foreigners were treated like they were super special endangered species. We had to be so cautious that any of them might in the least way get upset and snitch which would bring discipline and threats of dismissal.
When I was there 13 years, they created a position for a technical assistant for the assistant director. I applied and some woman got it that had been there one year. A year later, they promoted her and the position was open, now I had been there 14 years as an engineer. They put another woman in the position that had been there a year. I complained to the assistant director and he said he preferred to work with women. He also claimed that how it is supposed to work is that if there is a very qualified man applying for a position and a barely minimal qualifying woman applying that the job must go to he woman. No care here for quality service for the taxpayers. I did a federal complaint on it and took significant effort. In the end, the federal guy had a little meeting with me. He told me that all the agency had to do is say that they were doing voluntary affirmative action and the complaint would be dropped. Went to the hearing and that is what happened.
I can tell many other stories. Like one woman told a group of people that she went to a gun range and shot pictures of me. I copmplained and it was decided that was acceptable. I have a masters in business administration and the business manager position came open. They would not allow me to apply. They gave the position to a woman and said that her qualification was that she typed grants for another agency and they retained a guy for 3 months to train her. Could go on and on.
How can one blame whites and men for being angry about the reverse discrimination? It really is not reverse discrimination, it is discrimination. It is like two wrongs don’t make a right. It is like the affected people must be punished for things that they did not do. It is unethical and plain wrong and horrible. The leftists cling to their past BS and will do anything to win no matter how wrong it is or who it harms. They are the deplorables.
In my opinion everyone has some kind of discrimination. GOD made us all and we are all different. How a person is brought up financed, education, discipline or lack of. Everyone has all kinds of problems. Were you brought up wearing shoes, going barefoot, eating prime rib or pickled pigs feet.Everything that influences everyone life changes how people are.
