I have learned that when I hear anyone say: “As a Black Woman…”, the rest of the sentence will be a ridiculous statement.
If I see a black woman at a register or counter and there’s a black man, Asian woman, white polar bear, ANYTHING other then a black woman I will make an effort to go to the other counter. Don’t call me racist. Call me smart for recognizing a pattern and avoiding those situations when those patterns arise.
