I certainly wouldn’t have made fun of Trump for saying if he were president the war in Ukraine wouldn’t have happened, and NATO DID push Russia to invade. The talk of putting a NATO base in Ukraine was the primary reason. Ukraine shouldn’t have even been considered for NATO, and a military base on the water right on Russia’s border would have been a terrible danger to Russia. We know for a fact that Russia left Ukraine alone under Trump, but attacked them under Biden and Obama. So this claim is pretty good.
