Trump Makes A Bold Move to Make the Swamp Much Weaker

President Trump’s recent bold move must have sent every administrative agency scrambling. The latest executive order could finally break the bureaucracy’s power on the federal government and make the American government more accountable.

The Constitution mainly has three branches: The Executive, the Legislative, and the Judicial.

The federal bureaucracy is under the Executive branch. The federal government acts as the president’s arm in enforcing laws passed by Congress. People in the federal government are expected to act without partisanship.

However, in reality, this is not the case. In previous years, we’ve seen how agency employees act like an unaccountable fourth branch of the government, with several of them highly partisan.

IRS, FBI, DOJ, CIA, and other agencies believe in having a goal of advancing the Democrat’s interest. This was evident in the 2016 election when 95% of federal employees donated to Hillary Clinton’s campaign.

These unregulated administrative agencies, collectively, are called the swamp.

Swamp members previously attempted a coup and resistance against the constitutional leader, President Trump. They, too, have openly harassed citizens who do not share the same political party.

President Trump’s “Executive Order on Creating Schedule F in the Excepted Service” will draw the line to the abusive agencies.

The executive order would allow the presidential administration to review “competitive service selection procedures” in determining the performance of the federal service upper-level management employees.

According to the Washington Post, the directive “strips long-held civil service protections from employees whose work involves policymaking.”

The news outlet reported that employees would be “dismissed with little cause or recourse” similar to political appointees.

It also claimed, “Federal scientists, regulators, attorneys, public health experts, and many others in senior roles would lose rights to due process and in some cases, union representation, at agencies across the government.”

The same report argued that federal bureaucracy would become a partisan organization because of the executive order.

It’s rather a comical claim since the swamp has never been nonpartisan.

President Trump’s order would finally discipline the agencies who actively resist policies. The president would have the power to fire non-performing federal employees.

However, the executive order would go into effect only if President Trump is re-elected. Once seated again, he would clean the agencies and wipe out the partisan employees, leaving only the dedicated workers.

On the other hand, Biden would more likely rescind it and expect the swamp to grow even larger.
