Senator Chuck Schumer (D-NY) revealed plans on Tuesday to ensure President Trump never runs for the highest office again, even when he had 75 million votes in the recent presidential election.

In a Tuesday speech, Schumer reiterated to push charging Trump of “high crimes and misdemeanors” so he would be barred from running as president again.

The Senate majority leader said, “Healing and unity will only come if there are truth and accountability,” revealing an impeachment trial in the US Senate. The floor would be voting on possible conviction of Trump of misdemeanors and high crimes.

And if the President is convicted, there will be a vote on barring him from running again,” said Schumer.

Even Senate Leader Mitch McConnell now appears to echo Schumer’s statement. Other Republican senators also seem to support the idea of barring Trump from the presidential seat moving forward.

“Mitch McConnell and establishment Republicans reportedly don’t want to see Trump on the ballot in 2024. McConnell’s latest move in the senate may be about not only to convict the president but to pass with the majority something that would bar him from holding office again,” reported Mark Halperin on Newsmax.

Seeing his recent reactions, McConnell begins to be more vocal about his animosity towards President Trump. The senator joined the liberals in denouncing Trump in his own speech, Tuesday.

“The last time the Senate convened, we had just reclaimed the Capitol from violent criminals who tried to stop congress from doing our duty. The mob was fed lies. The President and other powerful people provoked them,” said McConnell.

McConnell’s tail started to show in his speech, claiming that “the President and other powerful people” used fear and violence to stop the election results’ certification.

The senator claimed that the mob failed, and the people’s choice for the 46th president was certified.

McConnell’s allegations are unsupported by facts and are just outright lies. President Trump specifically advised his supporters to march over to the Capitol “peacefully and patriotically.”

“We’re going to walk down to the Capitol — and we’re going to cheer on our brave senators and congressmen and women, and we’re probably not going to be cheering so much for some of them,” Trump said to the crowd, adding that the country couldn’t be taken back with weakness, but a show of strength.

Encouraging the mob to be strong, he also told them to demand the Congress count only the electors who have been lawfully slated.

“I know that everyone here will soon be marching over to the Capitol building to peacefully and patriotically make your voices heard,” Trump said.

So, which part of his statement did he incite violence? Perhaps, the liberals needed a lecture on comprehension.
