Following the statement of Senator Mitch McConnell on Friday, a furious mob staged a protest outside his home in Louisville, Kentucky.
Senator McConnell earlier released a statement that the Senate will vote on President Trump’s nominee for RBG’s replacement, which apparently drew fire from the leftist party.
The Democrats are now trying their best to prevent the Trump nominee’s election in the highest court in the land. No wonder the leftists are agitated and distressed that the Republicans will snatch the most coveted position.
Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s passing opened a significant turn for President Trump to appoint three high court justices in his first term. Left activists surely would fight tooth and nail to prevent such an unfavorable plot.
And as always, the activists, known for promoting chaos and unrest, took their voices in the streets. Demonstrators lined up outside Senate Majority Leader McConnell’s Kentucky home on Saturday, who at the time, is not confirmed to be in the same place.
Fox News likewise reported the scene.
The Senate majority leader is a crucial figure in determining whether a nominee appointed by President Trump will succeed the late Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg on the Supreme Court before Election Day.
At least one protester was arrested during the rally, with a group of about 100 people holding up banners and signage.
The protester was charged with disorderly conduct and improper parking after using a pharmacy parking lot exclusive for customers, reported the Courier-Journal of Louisville.
The arrest prompted the protesters to intensify their agenda.
“Ruth Sent Us,” and “No Ethics No Shame,” read some of the signage carried by the rally-goers while others chanted “Hey-hey, ho-ho, Mitch McConnell has got to go,” reported local FOX station WDRB-TV.
As the activists take the hassle of outside protests, others launched an online attack to target the senator.
Interpreted as a call for violence, “Get Mitch or Die Trying,” said the sickening fundraiser, which has collected over $5 million. It’s a wonder Twitter is yet to take down the malicious propaganda even when it violates the platform policies. The media has always been perceived to side with the left.
Louisville has become a hotbed of angry mobs staging continual protests over the shooting of Breonna Taylor, who was killed in her home during a drug raid.
The Democrats are always anxious. Now the attack centers Senator Mitch McConnell as a high figure with a significant role in a historic step that could weaken their political agenda.
